STILL UNDER CONS...
"Give me a museum and I'll fill it."

Hmmm..time for a big feast (aha, again!!!) ..After spending the whole day doing some shopping (or shall I say window shopping for the upcoming Boxing day...??) we've decided to treat ourselves to a delicious-finger-licking dinner...just us...Cornelia, me & Kak Nora plus Jah, Samuel and what's-that-girl-name?. And so, we've got grilled chicken, rice, baked pasta, yorkshire pudding (without fillings),some chinese mixed vege, instant grilled-salmon (Cornelia's idea of an easy n fast recipe), fruits n chocs for desert plus chips...
We stuffed ourselves until we can't move-ha ha what a night...and after that, to burn all the extra calories....we went for a walk to Victoria House...sending Miss Jah back to her deserted home.....

23 mad-scientists in the making... that's all I can say..With India n China (being known as countries with the largest population), again that is what being depicted in the course, as we have 8 students from China and 7 from India...And the third rank goes to......well, I think is shared by Malaysia (2 students), Middle-East (2), Britain (2), and finally Greece (1) and Cyprus (1)...All have their own characters...some can be as different as night and day, some are very outspoken-whom habit is to disturb ongoing lectures by asking 1001 questions, some are very quiet (but at the end managed to pull out a better score) and some whom like to sing Hindustani songs while waiting for the lectures to begin !!!
Get to know us??
Ali(Jordan?) Abir (India) Yiota (Cyprus) Ameesha (India) Even (China) Noor (It's me!!-Malaysia) Liu Tong (China) Ben (China) Ioanna (Greece?) Hanin (Iran?) Kalau kat M'sia boley raya sebulan, kat Sheffield pun apa kurangnye...he he for the first time in history, Sheffield Uni & Sheffield Hallam Uni Malaysian students joined force to organized Eid Reception 2003 peringkat Sheffield...Being held at Owen Building, Sheffield Hallam Uni from 10.30am to 2.00pm, the events was splendid and succesfull....I simply couldn't help but to feel proud of our Malaysian students-despite of different races and religions-be Malays, Chinese or Indians-all worked hands-in-hands to ensure the event flows out smoothly...The foods..hmmm-makes me feel as if I'm in Malaysia...Nasi tomato plus ayam masak merah, acar buah, dalca..nasi himpit n kuah kacang...lemang n rendang ayam...daging rusa panggang...dodol..Malaysian delicacies-karipap, agar2,etc and fruits...adoi, how can I ever resist all these good foods..???

Lincoln Christmas Market is based on an idea from Lincolnâ??s German twin town Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. The Market is now the biggest in Europe, and after Lincoln Cathedral, is perhaps the attraction for which Lincoln is best known. In December 1982, the first Christmas Market was held with fourteen stalls, a couple or local choirs and a few hundred people. Despite its humble beginnings, the event was a great success and over the next twenty years it prospered and grew to the point where in 2003, over 300 stalls were built and welcomed over 200,000 visitors. LCM was set in the grounds of the Castle and the Lawn, around the Cathedral, in Castle Hill and along Westgate.
With a wealth of carefully selected stalls, selling everything from hand painted glass Christmas decorations to ironwork created on working forges, hand made confectionery, jewellery, crafts and much more. Stall holders wear traditional Victorian costumes, and dress their stalls beautifully in an attempt to win the coveted Best Stall prize. Added to this the aroma of roasted chestnuts, hot gluh-wein (the German mulled wine that warms the heart of many Christmas Market shoppers) and the delicate sound of hand bell ringers or local choirs singing carols by lantern light, all set against the magnificent back drop of Lincoln's Cathedral and Castle, a visit to Lincoln Christmas Market should not be missed!
One of England's most beautiful historic Cathedral Cities, Lincoln possesses a magnificent built heritage, centred on its world famous Cathedral and Castle....
Sooo many interesting, adorable items...but quite expensive too...$$$$$$ but, it was such an enjoyable trip...except for me being chased by a huge, white dog while looking for a place to pray...wuish, almost being bitten...he he he wuff wuff...nasib baik anjing tu ada rantai...kalau tak....ish ish... p/s-thn depan nak pegi lagi lah.....he he he

To be honest, this was the first time I organised an open house for raya......(of course with the help of my flatmets n Jah-)...hmm what a wonderful experience...a bit hectic at first.. but luckily, all turned out to be fine... Got the recipe over the internet...which looks kind of easy and straight forward.. BUT, bila nak masak tu... hmm baru tau, it's not as easy as we thought... he he, but it's not that difficult either!! Tapi, berkat ke'terrer'an kitorg...jadi jugak akhirnye...all the foods even though baru first time cuba recipe tu... he he he..
So sorry for the hot and spicy dishes-especially to org2 yg tak mkn pedas ni....hmm ter'over' la plak guna lada kering Yafai tu... he he so, everybody went home with a red lip...ha aha ha but, anyway-my foreign flatmets suffered the most- tu la, org dah ckp pedas ayam masak merah tu, nak try gak... he he he...Anyway, thanks for coming...thn depan jemput la dtg lagi...tapi is either kat M'sia @ Scotland la... ha ha ha
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri...Maaf Zahir Batin...0-0 yek???
